God doesn’t want us carrying around guilt and unresolved feelings towards others. He wants us to know a full life, free from shame and regret. When we heed the Word of God and decided to live out God’s Way of “Honor,” it frees us to live a life of no regrets. Giving honor releases the power and life of God into our situations. Jesus models to us how to live a life of honor even to those who mistreat us. His example is not only inspiring, but He goes on in the Gospel of John chapter 13, to challenge all of his follower to “do the same.”.
