Pray and Rest

In this special service, Pastor Kelly gathers REFINERY congregation outdoors on the front lawn of the church to worship and pray. The teaching is based on the time when the disciples asked Jesus how to pray. Jesus gave a model of prayer called “The Lord’s Prayer” to instruct all of His followers (including us) on the priority and purpose of prayer. In addition, Pastor Kelly highlights 3 passages of scripture that promise that God will give rest to the weary: Jeremiah 31:25, Psalm 91:1-2, Matthew 11:28. The challenge given is to meditate on these passages for 3 weeks to experience rest and peace.
