JESUS is The Way

Who is Jesus? A good teacher. A social revolutionary. The most outrageous assertion Jesus ever made — His most politically incorrect claim of all — was when He declared “I AM THE WAY.” He made the audacious statement that would clarify that he is not “A” way or even “The Best” way. He is not one of many ways, Jesus is the only way to God.

In the Gospel of John, we read Jesus making a statement that can cause “tolerant” oriented people to bristle and cry foul. He says; “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” It’s been called arrogant and narrow-minded and bigoted and snobbish. For some, it may even be a stumbling block to faith.
