I am a child of God

Father’s Day weekend 2020 is a time to honor our dads and most importantly consider the love of Heavenly Father God. Because of Jesus Christ, each person can be called a Child of God. In the Gospel of John we discover that God opened up His family to anyone who makes Jesus Christ Lord. “But to ALL who believed Him and accepted Him, he gave the right to become children of God.” (John 1:12) Being a child of God is no longer cultural or based on earthly ancestry – it is based on a heavenly ancestry. This message highlights our position and privilege as God’s Kids.

Kids Teaching - Week 8

Continuing the series, “Blueprints”, for the whole family to do together!

Each week includes a family lesson that parents can do with both preschool and elementary kids, as well as a video that will help kids learn to identify their emotions and respond to them in the way God wants!

Kids will see how to use the Blueprint of God’s Word to manage their feelings by following three steps:

Stopping to name the emotion they feel.
Looking at what is going on inside and around them to cause them to feel that way.
Listening to what God says about that feeling.
